Ernest Hemingway won the 1954 Nobel Prize for literature in 1954 and many of his works are considered classics of American literature.   A Journalist during the Spanish Civil War, he wrote “For Whom the Bell Tolls” in 1940,  then in 1952 he published “The Old Man and the Sea”.  A replica personal check bearing his printed signature beneath an 11x14 Black and white portrait of him, matted and framed as shown using gold and tan matt.  Framed in “Black Swann” to an approximate overall size of  17x22x1 inches.    Ready to Hang.
